Born and raised in southwest Michigan, Kyle's journey took an adventurous turn when he answered the call to serve his country in the US Air Force. As a Crew Chief on the F-16 Viper fighter jet, he learned the importance of attention to detail and a deep sense of purpose.

During his time with the renowned Tops in Blue entertainment unit, Kyle's talents shone as the assistant lighting director, fueling his passion for visual storytelling. It was a whirlwind experience that drew him to photography.

Transitioning to the Air Force Reserve, Kyle seized the opportunity to hone his photography skills through the Defense Information School's Basic Still Photography course. Equipped with a camera and a creative vision, he became a master of his craft, capturing moments that transcend language.

In 2010, Kyle volunteered for a deployment to Afghanistan, where he documented the tireless efforts of a Provincial Reconstruction Team. Despite cultural diversity and language barriers, his keen eye captured extraordinary moments and untold stories.

Joining the Combat Camera squadron in the Air Force Reserve as a Combat Photojournalist, Kyle embarked on a remarkable journey. Collaborating with international allies and witnessing the resilience of the human spirit, his lens immortalized triumphs and beauty.

Selected for the prestigious DoD's DINFOS-Intermediate Photojournalism course, Kyle's exceptional talent and dedication distinguished him among his peers, earning him a place among the elite in the field of photojournalism.

At Edwards Air Force Base, Kyle's journey took an vertical turn as an aerial photographer. Transitioning from maintaining the F-16 Viper to soaring through the skies aboard it, he played a vital role in advancing military aviation.
